Well I made it through that week....

Wow! That was a long tiring busy week but I made it. Now I have six days off and even though I will be doing something for the 4th I plan on just being lazy most of that time. I just want to relax and do some things with the website. It doesn't sound exciting but some R&R is what I really need.

Birthdays!

Our company decided to do a shutdown for four days beginning July 1st and ending July 4th. I actually get my birthday and the birthday of America off. This also means I get two weeks off this month instead of just my one week at the end of the month.. (turn around week is in my favor this time).

I will actually get to see the firework show at the local city park too!
I better get on the phone soon and call a few friends and get something going. Maybe a trip around the lakes or even a day out on the canoes.

Possible Relief?

As Kim knows I have been groaning about the heat and the miserable temps here. I am barking up the wrong tree though to be fair because she has it worse. Here is some good news. Well sort of. RAIN! Boy do we need it. I'd like to see my lawn green and I'd like to see it cool off. The bad part (well that really depends on how bad they are) is the storms that are coming with it. They are going to be pretty severe... However if the power goes out at work it could be good news because I could get off early.


Good, Bad, Good, Bad.. I can't make up my mind. LOL!

Busy Busy!
Mood:  rushed
This is my turn around week at work. What does that mean? It means that the three days I work this week are tonight, Fri and Sat night. Next week my three days are Monday, Tue and Wed. Sunday will be spent sleeping since I work 12 hour shifts.

If you don't see any entries for a week that is why. I haven't disappeared again.
